How do I add bleed to a file?
The file must have bleed applied. Bleed is the part of the illustration that borders the print frame (cut line). Bleed extends the design/artwork so that it is larger than the actual size of the label. It is possible to add bleed colors in the file outside the print frame (cut line). This ensures that there isn’t a white line around the edge of the label.
How to create bleed to the file:
- Choose File > Document setup.
- At 'bleed area' (top, bottom, left, right) indicate 2mm.
- Click on OK.
