It is advisable that all glue types are stored in cool, dark conditions. Exposure to moisture, heat, and direct lighting must be avoided to ensure quality of product.
Permanent
Permanent glue is generally the most used adhesive choice. Standard permanent adhesive is ideal for general purposes. This adhesive consists of acrylic (water-based) that gives a good adhesion to a wide variety of materials.
Suitable for materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, metal etc. Also suitable for lower temperature usage.
Temperature: It is recommended to apply labels with permanent glue in temperatures above 0ºC. After application, permanent adhesive is ideal in temperatures ranging from -10ºC to +65ºC. Shelf life is 2 years when stored in a constant temperature of 22ºC.
Removable
Removable adhesive (also known as peel-able) is suitable for general purposes. In contrast to permanent glue, removable labels can easily be removed without leaving any glue residue behind. This adhesive consists of acrylic (water-based) properties. It has good adhesion to a wide variety of materials. When applied in low temperatures (deep freeze) the adhesive becomes permanent. However, when the temperature rises, the adhesive becomes removable again.
Suitable for paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, metal etc.
Temperature: It is recommended to apply labels that have a removable adhesive in a temperature higher than 15ºC. Removable adhesive is resistant to temperatures from -5ºC to +60ºC. Shelf life is 2 years when stored in a constant temperature of 22ºC.
